Not sure how AARP finds us. My mother has been telling me to join for years – that’s enough reason to avoid it. As long as I can still rebel against Mom, I’m still cool, right?

I laughed and I got sad reading your article. Every time we turn 30, 40, 50… it feels like a milestone, like your younger life is over and you feel it’s time to reserve your walker and tennis balls.

But the truth is, the apps and music and tight jeans do not make you who you are and neither does the number 50. I have a friend who is 76, who skis like a mad man and does yoga when he cannot ski. I have another friend who is 90 and throws charity events and networks like nobody I ever knew. And I also have a friend who is 30 and who acts so old that it feels she is going to drop dead at any moment.

You are what you are. And even at 50, your spirit is the age it is. So, hold your head high and be proud of the fact that you were not in line for Twilight tickets the day it opened. But no matter what, do not wear that dreadful red hat.

Judy Judy Judy not sure why I cannot stop myself from saying that every time I see your name. Eeek razor *le big sigh* well then it’s gonna have to be one of those electric ones I already hate shaving my legs. What I have noticed is they don’t grow as much on my legs anymore lolol just other places I never had issues before like my chin thanks for dropping in Judy.
